Military Leave
Leave of Absence
Tenet recognizes that an employee may be called upon to serve in the U.S. military or other uniformed services of the U.S. Tenet will grant a Military Leave in the event that an employee receives a call to duty from the U.S. military branch or the National Disaster Medical System or the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, and will also grant unpaid time off to meet their weekly or annual training obligations. Tenet will not discriminate or retaliate against any person seeking a Military Leave. The HR Leave Representative assists with the process for Military Leave of Absence and can provide guidance and support to employees and supervisors regarding leaves under this policy.
This may not apply, in part or in its entirety, to employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Those employees should consult their facility HR leader to determine the impact, if any, of their collective bargaining agreement on this topic and policy.
