Loans and Guarantees to Physicians and Other Potential Referral Sources

- Written summary is submitted to the responsible Tenet Legal counsel
    - Describe the terms of the transaction and business rationale for making the loan or guarantee
    - Provide the reasons why financing will not be obtained from a third party lender or other non-Tenet entity
    - Explain why terms of the loan or guarantee are FMV and commercially reasonable 
    - Include relevant information and/or information requested by the Tenet legal counsel
- If approved, Tenet legal counsel submits request to the General Counsel
    - Final review and approval is conducted 
- The arrangement must be approved in eCATS prior to funding the loan or making the guarantee.  Review and approval is recorded in the eCATS system, along with General Counsel approval
