Manager's Time Off Plan

Tenet is committed to our people and believe that employees need and deserve personal time to achieve a healthy work and life balance. Tenet offers two types of paid time off (PTO) programs for eligible employees based on their role in the company. Non-management staff typically participates in the Paid Time Off (PTO) Plan, and management staff in the Manager’s Time Off (MTO) Plan. Employees participate in one of the programs to take approved time off from scheduled work. Participants in the MTO plan are salaried exempt employees and can submit a request to take time off away from work, up to the amount of MTO accrued and not to exceed 20 days per calendar year.
This may not apply, in part or in its entirety, to employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Those employees should consult their facility HR leader to determine the impact, if any, of their collective bargaining agreement on this topic and policy.
Not applicable to those located outside of California.
Participants may qualify for the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) or the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) and may refer to the applicable policy or contact HR for more information.
