Paid Time Off Plan

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Tenet believes that employees need and deserve personal time to achieve a healthy work and life balance. We offer two types of paid time off (PTO) programs for eligible employees based on their role in the company. Non-management staff typically participate in the Paid Time Off (PTO) Plan, and management staff in the Manager’s Time Off (MTO) Plan. Employees participate in one of the programs to take approved time off from scheduled work. Contact HR for questions or guidance regarding PTO eligibility and processes.
Not applicable to entities not on Tenet’s HR and payroll systems and Conifer Health Solutions who has a separate PTO policy. 
Employees who need to request leave because of a serious health condition or disability should contact their facility’s HR representative and see how other leave policies may apply.
This may not apply, in part or in its entirety, to employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Those employees should consult their facility HR leader to determine the impact, if any, of their collective bargaining agreement on this topic and policy.
